Background
HundHund is a premium fashion label from Berlin. In the beginning, the client was negotiating a deal with us and another agency from London. Unfortunately, our competitors were native English speakers and had more experience in the fashion industry, and therefore, we did not get chosen for the partnership. However, their practices occurred not to be efficient. The client dismissed them after one month, as his ROAS dropped from 5x to 1x, which gave us the chance to step in.
Our Adjustments
We began with a thorough analysis of two years' worth of past data, reviewed the London agency’s failures, and conducted an audit of the website’s conversion rate. We integrated our findings with our best practices and advised the client on website improvements, particularly on the homepage, which had been underperforming.
Exceptional Results
Our adjustments led to remarkable outcomes. Not only did we recover the ROAS, but we also significantly improved it. Our initial campaigns achieved a ROAS of 8, and we doubled the client’s revenue in the following months.
Key Tactics
New Ad Formats: We have tested new ad formats that have not been used yet on the ad account, including graphic posts, which we usually find the most efficient in the case of the fashion industry. Again, we were not mistaken as the new ad format and our creatives resulted in 53% lower Cost Per Click and 35% higher CTR.
Remarketing Funnel Restructuring: We restructured the whole remarketing funnel according to our expertise, adding new targeting options that have been used neither by the client nor the previous agency. The best examples of the new remarketing audience are people who engaged with ads previously and users who visit the website frequently (at least a few times within the last few months) but haven't purchased yet.
Prospecting Audience Split Tests: We conducted split tests to find new prospecting target audiences, discovering several that performed as well as Lookalikes, enabling faster and easier revenue scaling.
